Production Management – The Book

With just a small amount of time to film our pieces and edit them, I created a production management form so everybody knew what they had to do and by when.

This is a small but crucial part of making our piece as it kept us organised and reassured that we completed every planning and construction element by the deadline. It is also very helpful in making sure that we do not forget or miss any construction element as it is very easy to loose track of time or forget filming in a certain location.

As we only had a few hours at the chosen locations to film; due to sunlight and other commitments from members of my team I knew we had to keep a tight schedule and not waste too much time on a specific shot. To accomplish this I made a call sheet for everyone and  plan for each day with timings on so we knew when we had to move on to make sure we got all the shots we needed.
